Surf town · Costa da Caparica, Portugal

Good coffee,
just off the Atlantic

The cafe

Where the day starts before the tide turns.

Holly Brew sits on the low cliff where the fishermen’s quarter meets the sand. Coffee first, bread at sunrise, and the terrace turns with the light.

We roast a little in the back, bake more than we can list on a chalkboard, and pour espresso for whoever walks in off the beach — the morning surfers, the remote workers and the neighbours who have been here since before the waves had names.

Slow is not a style here; it is the pace of a coast town. Come in for ten minutes or for the whole afternoon. Either way, the pot stays full.

House-roasted beans, pulled all day.

Reservations

Book a table on the terrace.

The patio faces the sea. We take bookings for evenings and for groups of five or more — the form lands on this page in the next update.
